NICF - IPv6 Forum Certified System Administrator (Gold)
Objective
Besides network configuration and planning, IPv6 services such as DNS, Web, Email and NMS are important for most practical IPv6 rollout. In this NICF - IPv6 System Administrator course, the focus is to train engineers and system administrators who want to have an in-depth knowledge of setting up and maintaining IPv6 DNS, Web, Email and NMS services. The course also includes lots of hands-on lab exercises that will strengthen the participants’ theoretical knowledge.
By attending this course, trainee will:
• Install and configure new hardware and system software (Competency Unit: IT-SS-301S-1)
• Monitor network performance and identify issues (Competency Unit: IT-NMM-303S-1)

Target Audience
System Administrators, Project Managers, IT Managers, Network Engineers, IPv6 planners who had attended the NICF-IPv6 Forum Certified Engineer (Silver) Course.
Pre-Requisite
Work Experience:Preferably with 1 year experience in IT industry
Prior Knowledge: Understand IP networking protocols and concepts
Literacy: Work Place Learning & Numeracy Level 5
Other Requirements & Considerations: Preferably with NICF-IPv6 Forum Certified Silver Engineer equivalent
* Direct enrollment into the Gold series of IPv6 Forum courses is granted based on applicant’s experience
